It is our great pleasure to welcome you to ALUCAST 2008 in Chennai. We are confident that the fair, concentrated on foundry machinery, related equipment and castings, provide exhibitors, costumers and partners with the best framework to create successful business contacts.
As the worlds largest exporter of machinery, the German mechanical engineering industry is willing to increase its share of machinery exports to India. German exports of machinery already increased from 684 million Euro in the year 2000 to 2,730 million Euro in 2007. These impressive figures show that capital goods in Germany play a key role in the relations between both countries.

This year, the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) as well as the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) are supporting a German group participation, giving 10 companies the possibility to present their excellent products and to offer their renowned services to key players and decision makers in India.
On behalf of all exhibitors, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) as well as the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) wish all participants a successful show and extend a warm welcome to all visitors of the German Pavilion at stand no. J 11.
